Breakfast

Hi, friends. What do you eat for breakfast? This is mine for today.

Breakfast is the first chance the body has to refuel its glucose levels, also known as blood sugar, after eight to 12 hours without a meal or snack. Glucose is essential for the brain and is the main energy source. Blood glucose also helps fuel the muscles needed for physical activity throughout the day.

“Breakfast is also very important for weight loss and weight management,” Frank said. “You ‘break the fast’ of not eating for the past eight to 12 hours. It helps curb your hunger and prevent binge eating later in the day. Breakfast is important to manage your weight and potentially lose weight by eating less calories throughout the day.”

Check this out and more… (Western style healthy breakfasts) in here.

However, here is another choice of healthy breakfast.

As you can see, to Chinese, tea and porridge is a very healthy breakfast set. Especially fish porridge which contains better nutrients and high protein. Porridge is less oily and easily digested. Thus, won’t make you fat and very healthy for both adults and kids.

On the other hand, tea is a great source of anti-oxidant. Thus, good for your skin too. Besides, tea will certainly has the power to wake you up! Thus, I like porridge like nothing else. It’s my true love…

Unless you make your own breakfast, it is hard to find healthy breakfast alternative. Sigh.. summore when I’m in the coffee shop, the char koay teow smell is beckoning me to sin. ;-(

LOL! That’s true though. However, if you are so into char kuay teow, remember to find those fried by using charcoal instead of gas. It’s healthier. :)

Sorry to sound like a health freek. In fact, I am such a freek sometimes when I am over concern about healthy diet!:P

Thanks for dropping by too. Hope too see you more often.
