Salad with dressing is still healthy

According to the fact that meets my eyes, people nowadays normally don’t eat enough fruits or vegetables which is necessary for healthy living. As a result, we might be lack of fiber and antioxidants. Thus, indigestion is more common and our immunity is affected too.

Raw vegetables is specially rich in water soluble vitamins. Thus, salad should be included in our everyday meal. It is certainly good for health. As we add in salad dressing or Mayonnaise, salad is absolutely delicious.

Mayonnaise is hubby’s favorite. Bill loves it too. Thus, even they don’t like vegetables, they still take salads. Some claimed that salad dressing is bad for health. However, there are also researches reported that those who eat salads with salad dressing have considerably higher levels of vitamins C, E, B6, and folic acid. And, these are the important nutrients that promotes healthy immune system, reducing the risk of obesity and heart disease.

The natural source of good fat such as vitamin E in the salad dressing actually helping the absorption of certain nutrients of the vegetables and fruits. Accordingly, mayonnaise in the salad may even protect postmenopausal women against stroke due to the high content of natural vitamin E.

    another low fat alternative is to use the sesame oil dressing…very nice!
