I am trying Juvanex

I have started drinking 2 sachets (mixed with 400 ml water) during breakfast and 2 sachets during dinner time as instructed since yesterday. Only little fruits and lots of water during  breakfast and lunch. But, never feel so hungry as I expected. Then, I eat a pack of nasi lemak for dinner instead of brown rice and steam vegetables.Ha!

Today is the 2nd day. I started to have the need to go to toilet for more than once. Somehow, it’s not diarrhea. And, I started to take very small portion of sweet potatoes which I supposed to start eating only on day 3. LOL!

Later, I will take vegetable soup as dinner. Overall, I just feel a little bit more tired. That’s it. No headache or nausea like my precious DIY body detox. May be because many vital nutrients were included in the fiber complex. Also, menu were given on what to eat within this 7 days.

By the way, the taste of the fiber complex is quite good. But, the psyllium husk in it will thicken the mixture after a while. That’s not my cup of tea. :(

I think if you just want to loose a few pounds and hunger for a healthier body like me, Juvanex is a good start before you can fully go organic. At the end of the day, it’s best if we can buy a compost tumbler, make some organic fertilizer and start planting organic vegetables ourselves.

I am using scalp care Shampoo

Since the neither the mulberry nor the brown rice Vinegar  can quickly solve my oily scalp problem, I decided to give this shampoo a try.

As you can see, a tonic is included. It is strongly recommended by my hair stylist. So, I just give it a try. Somehow, by looking at the ingredients, it’s full of chemicals. Even Paraben is in it. I think I will stop using it once the my scalp problem has improved.

My first Grey Knit Wear

When I walk into the shopping mall, anything more than 50% discounts will surely attracts my attention. And, I get more excited if it’s written there “buy 1 free 1″. :)

Of course, that’s more for clothing or appliances. However, if it’s things like car insurance, we will still be happier if we can get services like free insurance quotes. That’s human nature.

On Sunday, I saw RM 22 and RM 25 in Mango’s retail shop for the winter wears. That’s filthy cheap for Mango’s attire. What a big surprise! Must try!

Wow! This is great. Nice cutting, light and soft material and I like it’s gray so much. Out of the sudden, there were 2 grays in my wardrobe now instead of none for all over the years.   :)

I am so happy as I brought it home. What a great bargain! I can’t even find this quality at this price in the pasar malam too.

How come is Gray

Nice? Fold up style collar blouse seems to be in trend. Smart and casual. I love it! This one is from Mango. My mum bought white. But, I prefer gray. Frankly, I feels kind of strange that I choose gray. I was like “How come is gray?”

As all over the years, no gray will be found in my wardrobe. But out of a sudden, I choose all grays. I bought another gray neat wear from Mango too. Among 4 to 5 bright and sharp colors, I just like gray. Not like me at all. LOL!

Anyway, I guess I would have chose white again for this blouse, if the material is not thin and kind of like can see through. :P

Use V Power

I just learn something new from my uncle who is operating a petrol station now. If you are someone who likes to use Shell’s petrol like me, but just using the usual N95 or N97, please pump in some V Power into your car. At least once or twice a month. As it helps to clean your engine.

In this case, you will save your pocket as it takes good care or keep your car engine in good condition and top performance like the Mopar performance parts. On the other hand, all of us are helping to save the world too by always keeping our engine clean. :)

Apply the Organic Concentrated Brown Rice Vinegar

Second bottle of Organic Brown Rice Vinegar from Luyin. There is a free plum jelly with any purchase of a Luyin vinegar now.

And, I am kind of surprise that this vinegar tastes so much better now. Smoother and more fragrance to me. Vast difference. I love this new taste so much. Taste so good! May be Luyin had improve the fermentation process.

By the way, this time I will dilute and apply it on my dry, itchy and flaky skin on the legs. Hopefully, it can stop the itchiness and smooths our skin after some time as it claimed.

Also, I am applying it on my scalp after every hair wash. This is to solve the problem of my oily scalp that will cause itchiness or rancid smell if I wash my hair every alternate day instead of everyday. I hate that smell! Let’s hope for the best.  :)

Healthy Home Cook 1: Grilled Chicken

This is my grilled chicken with olive oil, lemon peel, garlic and rosemary. Healthy ingredients. And, finger licking good!

1 tbsp of olive oil

1 tbsp of lemon peel

2 clove garlic

1 tsp of dried rosemary

Put the seasoning under the chicken skin like this.

And season the surface of the skin with salt and pepper before turning it over while grilling to make it more crispy. That’s what the recipe said. But, this experiment doesn’t turn out crispy. Ha!

Somehow, it’s nice. Light and fragrance. (Of course, if it’s terrible. You just won’t see it here anymore. Hahahaha……)

Hubby said I got 2 stars out of 5 stars. And, little Elizabeth enjoyed helping me in the kitchen. Also, She loves this grill chicken so much. Great! It’s good to see they enjoy my cooking. Please don’t stop supporting me. Don’t worry about your weight. We can still afford nordictrack. Hahahahaha…..

I told you I am going to start cooking this year. And, I did it!

It has strengthen my immune system

I am still drinking vinegar. May be not everyday. But, at least alternate day or twice a week. I did feel healthier after drinking vinegar. No more aches and pains. And, no more flu around menstrual period too ever since I start drinking this vinegar.

I think this mulberry vinegar is exactly what my body is looking for now. It has strengthen my immune system. Somehow, I will keep on trying other flavors such as aloe vera, peach, papaya and passion fruit vinegar, one after another. As I believe each and every of them will provide different goodness for our body. And, for those that I have tried such as plum and brown rice, I will still include them in the list.

Lemon can alkalize drinking water

Do you like the taste of plain water? I hate that taste since young. I even feel it’s bitter sometimes. Thus, recently I always put a slice of fresh lemon into the water container. Mmm…… it taste fragrance but not sour at all. :)

I love the taste of fresh lemon. Thus, I always drink honey lemon. As honey lemon is more soothing to our stomach compared to lemon tea. But, both are still popular for quick trim burn and cleanse after food.

I have seen restaurant serving drinking water with a strawberry in it, instead of lemon. Somehow, lemon should be the best. As I just learn from the newspaper that add a slice of lemon or lime into the water can actually alkalize our drinking water. And, our body must be more alkaline than acidic in composition to obtain good health.

Shall my baby take Soy Milk?

I keep breastfeeding until I found the organic milk powder “Babynet” that Elizabeth could take it regularly without causing allergy. After she was about 1 year plus, I found Bonmil. Another cheaper but more rich in taste organic milk. I am glad she accept it well until now.

Yes! My girl has milk allergy. At the age of 3 now, her skin will still have rashes and she will get runny nose once I switched her to fresh milk for a few weeks. Somehow, I will try my best not to let her consume soy milk regularly. As this is what I found out a few years back from an online source. And, I believe it’s true. :)

“A retrospective epidemiological study by Fort, et al. showed that teenaged children with a diagnosis of autoimmune thyroid disease were significantly more likely to have received soy formula as infants (18 out of 59 children; 31 percent) when compared to healthy siblings (nine out of 76, 12 percent) or control group children (seven out of 54; 13 percent).

When healthy individuals without any previous thyroid disease were fed 30 grams of pickled soybeans per day for one month, Ishizuki, et al. reported goiter and elevated individual thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) levels (although still within the normal range) in thirty-seven healthy, iodine-sufficient adults.  One month after stopping soybean consumption, individual TSH values decreased to the original levels and goiters were reduced in size.”

Organic Safe Baby Wash

My little princess will scratches her skin every now and then. This shows that she had sensitive skin like mummy. May be it’s eczema. But only very slight eczema. Somehow, mummy has been very careful in selecting shower gel for her.

It used to be Buds. But, I find it kind of drying too. Now, I am trying this out.

It’s the organic Safe Baby Hair and Body Wash from Australia. As we have tried the mosquitoes repellent and massage oil from the same brand. They are great. Let’s see if the hair and body wash works well too.

By the way, as we all know that eczema or sensitive skin problem just ain’t easy to solve. Thus, I feel that we should carefully select those lotion, shower gel or shampoo with less chemicals or totally soap free with fantastic moisturizing agents. As keeping our skin moisturized and managed to avoid all the chemicals that can cause itchiness all the time is already a great eczema treatment.

My new knee length stripes dress

This is going to be one of my new dress for CNY.  Dark ocean green knee length stripes dress.

Frankly, this is not my color. As my skin looks so much darker once I put it on. Somehow, It still looks nice. It’s carefree, young and graceful. Not too short but can fit my figure so well. I just don’t mind tan. As long as body figure looks great, it’s still charming, isn’t it? Hehe……

I told myself I am going to wear more dresses this year. Just feel like doing so. :)

Prunella

The weather is getting so hot these few days. So I bought this.

In mandarin,we called it “Xia Ku Cao”. It is actually the dried  Prunella. Most Chinese will take it as a cooling tea that will hydrates our body when the weather is too hot. We will boiled it with molasses.

As molasses is a good source of iron. And, Prunella is anti inflammation and also helpful in detoxify our liver. Overall, this combination will certainly strengthen our immune system be it during hot or cold weather.I believe its anti inflammation properties is a good acne remedy too. Of course, it doesn’t apply for those with serious acne problem.

Cheap and effective. Somehow, twice a week will be good enough unless you had fever or other health problems. By the way, I will boil it tomorrow and drink it together with my family. My little princess loves it! :)

16 Jan

Why not steak?

Many Buddhist and Hindus do not eat cow’s meat because of religious purpose. Even myself stop taking steak for years until now for this reason too. I just do it. But, I still ask why most of the time.

Most people tell me because cow produces milk and work in the paddy field so that we have rice to eat. Thus, they become our sacred animal. Still, I am waiting for a more scientific reason.

Now, learn this with me.

“Methane is the second most significant greenhouse gas and cows are one of the greatest methane emitters. Their grassy diet and multiple stomachs cause them to produce methane, which they exhale with every breath.”

So, eat less steak actually helps to save the world. This sounds so much better for me.

I want my flat tummy back

I guess as long as we are living, our worries just never end. Probably, it’s because of human greed too. LOL!

Previously, I am worried about my acne. Now, it seems that my weight is even more worrying. I just weigh myself. It’s 52kg now. How come? This is so scary. My weight never exceed 50kg before.  And, I am especially upset about my growing tummy. :(

Gosh! Am I eating too much. For the last few months, yes. :(

I am watching my diet now, taking less rice and meat. Hopefully it helps. Besides, I must start working hard on this too.

At least 20 minutes a day. Will it work? May be I need slimming cream too. Oh! This is really unexpected. What a nightmare! Anymore great ideas on how to lose weight to share with me? Help! I want my flat tummy back! *Sob Sob*

Prenatal Nutrient

I just visited my friend who just have a new born girl. That’s her third child. Then, she bombarded the same old question on me again. “When are you going to have your second one?” Frankly, I have no plan for second one yet.

Somehow, if anyone of you are pregnant now, congratulation! Also, bear in mind that you will need additional amount of folic acid, iron and calcium during pregnancy. Thus please consult your doctor weather you need prenatal vitamins.

As in my first pregnancy, I felt joint pains for almost 1 year plus after delivery. I guess I would never end up like this if I took enough prenatal supplements. Or I shall eat more green leafy vegetables, nuts, beans and citrus fruits to get more folic acid. Also, more dairy products for more calcium and extra meats, walnuts and deeply colored greens like spinach for more iron.

All the best! :)

6 simple steps to stop global warming at home

  1. Don’t open your fridge’s door except needed. As the fridge’s motor will operates for another half an hour each time as we open the door for just one minute.
  2. Plant more trees around your house to take advantage of the shading effect that can make our house colder. Besides, trees can directly reduce the concentration of carbon dioxyde in the atmosphere as they absorb carbon dioxyde for photosynthesis purposes.
  3. Use solar heating system for any heater in the house to save energy.
  4. Get a home energy audit to save energy used at home.
  5. Often clean or replace filters on your furnace and air conditioner to save approximately 350 pounds of carbon dioxide a year.
  6. Conserve water. A lot of energy is needed to process clean water.

Remember to spare a recycle bag with you

Yesterday, I went shopping. Again, I forget to bring along the recycle bags. I guess the hypermarket seems understand that we need some time to get used to the new “no plastic bags” regulation in almost every shopping mall. So, it actually gives away paper boxes. *Sigh*

Last year, it was only every Monday. Now, It’s every Monday to Wednesday. I guess soon we will work it out to everyday. So, please remember to bring along the recycle bags whenever you ago. Just in case you need to buy something along the way. Hehe…

I am sparing one of these in my big hand bag now too. Just in case.

I am far more willing to participate as the weather is burning now. I can see that it’s a good start. everyone is working so hard on it to save our world. In fact, going green by using less electricity, making own garbage enzymes for cleaning, conserve water, or recycling the garbage are just like buying cheap car insurance. Eventually, they all simply help to save our spending. :)

Why Abalone is so expensive?

Look at this… It’s my Christmas Dinner for last Christmas. I just can’t forget the taste of these fresh Abalone Sashimi. Mmm…… Wonderful!

As a Chinese, we believe that Abalone, bird’s nest, shark fin and sea cucumber are a few precious food that promotes youth, beauty and great health benefits to our body. Thus, they are highly price.

Well, may be because the abalone is tasty. Somehow, abalone is a high energy food and is extremely rich in concentrated marine proteins, vitamins and trace elements such as: Potassium, Phosphorous, Iron, Sodium, Magnesium, Copper, Zinc, Selenium, Niacin, Biotin, Folic Acid, Pantothenic Acid, Sulphur, Calcium, iodine, Chloride, and Vitamins A, B and E. When cooked, it is also a good source of omega-3 fatty acids.

Thus, some claimed that abalone extract may be beneficial for:

  • Weight Loss
  • Inflammation
  • Crohn’s Disease
  • Enhance Recovery
  • Increase Circulation
  • Immune System Stimulant
  • Soften Skin
  • Brittle and Damaged Hair
  • Increase vitality
  • Improve eyesight and,
  • Enhance the function of the liver and spleen

Wow! Delicious and nutritious. More abalone please… Easy! Just made a reservation for Outer Banks rentals, packed and fly over. Mexico? San Francisco Bay? Australia? South Africa? Whatever! I just want to say, Abalone, I miss you! Hahahaha……… :P

Bright Pink with wide classic collar

It’s Tuesday again. Thus, just came back from pasar malam (night market). And, Taa… Daa…

This is what I brought home. Bright pink. Simply perfect for CNY. As in our Chinese tradition, CNY must wear bright colors, especially red to get “Ong” (good luck). Ha!

Also, it fits me just right. And, I like it’s wide classic collar. Feminine and unique! Now, I am looking for nice black short pants.I think it’s going to be a perfect match with this blouse. What do you think? :)

What happened to my favourite flowery dress?

How about this? I finally found something I really really like. Simple, lovely, cozy, and a bit sexy. Kind of Japanese or English look. It’s form Metrojaya. 20% discount. :)

I kept telling hubby I want something flowery, yet sexy. And, this is it. I told myself I am going to wear this during the first day of CNY. Then, as my maid passed it back to me just now right after ironing, this is what I heard:” You bought teared clothes again.”

Excuse me! Not this one. As I have checked properly before I paid for it. I will always be extra careful when it’s the last piece. And, this is also the last piece of this design and its color. I have checked it over and over again even after I first came back from the mall.

It’s the little animal scratches again. It happened to my other clothes too. I already warned her not to hang the clothes at the backyard at night for more than once. Still it happened. Even though it’s not as valuable as netbooks, but it’s precious cause its brand new and I like it so much! Terrible!

Now, I can only put a coating of nail paint. Then fold and stick the torn part up. Thanks God that it is not obvious anymore. So, I can still wear it. Just not on the first day of the CNY anymore. :(

Let’s start cooking

Any new health plan in this new year? As for me, I think I am going to start home cooking. Nothing is going to stop me now. I am going to make it this year. I give myself 6 months to practice. My goal is 30 simple delicious dishes.

As hubby is not really eating well during lunch for most of the working days. I want to start preparing healthy lunch boxes for him. Obviously, I am in a process of learning to be a good wife and also a good mum. Hahahaha……

As nothing is better than healthy home cooking, especially when the cook is cooking with loving heart. Do you believe in that? I guess more and more people starting to accept that the mood of the person who cook actually affects the overall well being of the dishes. Which means the food that was cook by a happy chef seems to be more nutritious to those who eat it. :)

In fact, I always feel sorry to be a mum who don’t really know how to prepare healthy and yummy food for my little girl. LOL! Thus, I am looking for simple recipes now. Let’s do it tomorrow!

04 Jan

Sooth and silky dark purple dress

This is another new dress which I just bought from Metrojaya last Wednesday. Sooth and silky dark purple dress. The color is kind of unique. And, it’s dark color makes me look so fair when I put it on. :)

I like it so much. It is as classic as the Minka Aire. Fantastic dinner wear! It’s ok to wear it casually too. Even though it’s soft and sooth, but the material is kind of heavy. Thus, I just don’t have to worry about dress flying up when I am walking outdoor in a windy weather.

Besides, it’s only around RM 120. I considered it very good deal.

Happy 2010

How about that? Sexy, young and beautiful? For all the ladies, wish you with beauty. May you be sexy and lovely. Wow! Then, we girls have to spare more tissues too. As the guys must be drooling all the time like babies.

By the way, any new year wish? I went to “Pooja” (Hinduism prayer) last night. And, I did sent my New Year wish to heaven. LOL! May Amman bless me and all of my friends and family have a wonderful new year 2010. Most importantly, be healthy.

Finally, may your wish come true in this wonderful New Year. :P

Shangrila is so Clean and Nice

I really had a wonderful stay at the Shangri-La Hotel in KL. It’s brand new, so classic, and so beautiful after the renovation. The services was fantastic. And, the room is so clean and neat.

So many spare towels. They are all so white and clean. I like that so much! The pillow was so soft. The comfy big bed should be anti dust mites or they actually put on the allergy mattress covers. Thus, my sensitive skin feel no itchiness at all.  Hehe……

Hubby said it got to be Shangri-La too if we are visiting KL again in the near future. As it’s such a wonderful experience! Worth the money. We are definitely getting more than we are expecting. :)

I am recommending to you my friends here. As if you are a health freak like me who might be very particular about hygienic will only have a wonderful vacation experience if you are staying in a such clean and pleasant hotel during the trip.

Some new good match with short pants

Hi, I am back. I told you I was in shopping mood. But, I didn’t buy many. Only 3 of them. All tops.

This is the most expensive among the 3 cause it’s new arrival. But, the light satin type of cloth makes it look so feminine. It’s a good match with the short pants. I think I look young in it too. I love it! :)

30% discount. This is for my next year’s trip. I think it’s just nice for the weather in Barcelona in end of March. And, I think something not so thick like this. I hate think winter wear. Hehe……

Also 30% discount. Another good match with short pants. Simple, casual but still has the elegant look if I match it with my thick brown belt.

Overall, I enjoyed shopping in KL this time. Best still if the cash can be refill like the drinks offer in McD. Hahahaha……

Please walk more so that you can keep walking

Many among the ladies had knee joint arthritis after late 40’s to 50’s. So do my granny. Then, many had recovered after surgery. However, not my granny. The joint resurfacing and replacement surgery doesn’t seems to help her a lot.

May it because she never had enough walking. As I heard walking a lot is a must after the surgery as the appropriate physiotherapy. But besides going to toilet, lunch and dinner, granny will sit on the sofa in front of the TV once she finished her breakfast until the time to go to bed. How about that? :)

In fact, her voice is still very loud and strong. But not her legs. So, please walk more so that you can keep walking until your very old age. Also, looking at our modern lifestyle which makes us always sit in front of the computer will not only cause the overall joint problem, but also the spine problem. Of course, to me sitting straight like what you did in the Yoga lesson is the best prevention of spine problem.

Anyway, if you already have spine or joint problem, then please refer to the orthopedic and spine surgery Mexico for further information.

23 Dec

They are perfect match

Yesterday, I shop at the night market. And, I bought this. Good material, nice cutting which only cost RM 28. Really good buy. :)

Then, I found this in Sunway Carnival Shopping Mall. It’s from VOIR. Only RM 38 after 50% discount.

What do you think? I think they are perfect match. And, it should be the latest fashion. But if I can find a nice white belt to match with them instead of my existing black or brown belt,  It will definitely looks nicer.

I guess I am already in New Year mood. Collecting new clothes for CNY.

22 Dec

Especially good for eyes irritation or inflammation

I will be in KL on the 24th to celebrate Christmas. And, our oversea trip to Barcelona, Spain will be on March 2010. I think that’s enough. No more traveling for CNY. Otherwise, it’s going to be very tiring. :)

As the weather is kind of hot now, it’s definitely not enough by just sparing some cash, credit cards and the annual travel insurance while traveling. I guess we need to sleep well before we depart to KL. And, I should stop taking durian and start drinking more water.

Besides……

I will drink more of this too. This is a fantastic ready mix instant alternative cooling tea for releasing the heat in our body. In Chinese theory, when the weather is hot, or we have less sleep, eating more fried and baked food or those food which is high in protein might create heat in the body and cause fever or flu later on.

Just mix 2 to 3 teaspoons of it in 150ml of water and drink 1 to 2 times a day. It’s taste sweet, cheap and convenient. As we can find it in almost every Chinese medical hall or some supermarket. It is especially good for eyes irritation or inflammation cause by body heat.

Still driving at the age of 90 plus

How often do you eat outside? It’s quite often for me. Almost every Saturday and Sunday. But, I think eating out is like eating rubbish. As my friend just told me that her MIL is already at her late 60’s while we were having dinner together last night.

Gosh! To me, her MIL just look like in her late 50’s. And, she is still working as a hair stylist — a job which need lots of standing and washing. Wow! Then, my friend started to tell me about the way they eat. They area taking dishes which cook with minimum oil, no deep frying, no sugar, no salt and drinking lots of vegetable soup for more than 20 years. And, her neighbor who did like them too actually still driving at the age of 90 plus. LOL!

That’s why. They really deserve good health. But, for people like me who still add some Ajinomotto in our home cook dishes can never live happily with such a lifestyle. If such, may be I rather die earlier. Hahahahaha…………

Delicious Organic Pork

One of my friend who is an organic freak passed this to me. As she knows I am just another organic freak like her. Hahahahaha……

I think I am not an organic freak. But a health freak. As hubby busy looking for health insurance lead, I will be busy reading about health info from the net or other resources. :)

Anyway, they actually travel all the way from Penang to Ipoh which is about 2 hours drive to buy this organic pork. Sounds so precious, eye? No joke. It is precious! As far as I know, there is no organic pork in Penang. Thus, they need to travel so far to buy this pork.

And, according to brochure, this Sakura Pork is sterilized with lactobacilius, has no growth hormones, low fat with high protein. Nutritious and delicious. My friends said you won’t find bubbles in the soup as it always does when we cook the normal pork we bought from the market.

Besides, it taste sweat and soft. Wow! I would like to try too. And, my friend is so kind. She actually offer me that she can buy for me when they go there. I will try. But, how I wish it is not 30% more expensive than normal pork. :(

No Zentel for my girl

As I took Zentel a month ago, I had diarrhea about 2 days later. Then, it was abdomen pain and nausea which last about 3 days. I also feel very weak and tired later on. Frankly, I just never feel good for the next 10 days since I took Zentel.

If we always sleep well

Wow! I sleep late almost every night since last Sunday. Just another movie marathon. Luckily I have completed the full episodes now. It’s time to rest more.

Some people will still look alright even they have less sleep. Unfortunately, I am not one of them. I realized my skin become so much clearer since my girl’s holiday. And, obviously it’s because I can sleep well without waking up early in the morning anymore.

So, having enough rest might be the best acne treatment to you too. Overall, our skin will look healthier, smoother and less oily if we always sleep well.

REX Mosquito Trap

It’s good to stay together sometimes. As mum managed to enjoy the Yoga Flex that I bought. And in return, all of us enjoyed a better living environment with less mosquito attacks by operating the latest REX mosquitoes trap that mum bought almost every day and night. :P

How about that? It has got the look of a lamp. Nice! Anyway, this latest invention is called “REX”. It is from China. We bought it from Parkson for only RM 132 during this promotion period.

And, this is how it works. Just on the electricity and place it 3 meter above the floor. REX will stimulates CO2, heat, moisture emission and UV rays, making it exactly like the prey to mosquitoes. Then, the mosquitoes are sucked in by the airflow created by the suction fan. Once they are trap, these mosquitoes will die of dehydration by the continuous airflow.

It’s a good trap. It really trap lots of mosquitoes that flying in our house. Besides, it claims that the process also help purify the air and sterilize foul air. Thus, it supposed to be a revolutionary way to kill the harmful mosquitoes. :)

What is SSDI?

Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) is a payroll tax-funded, federal insurance program. A portion of the FICA taxes you pay are set aside for SSDI. And, this social security disability insurance is designed to provide you with income if you are unable to work due to a disability or until your condition improves, and guarantees income if your condition does not improve.

I think this is a very good facility. Somehow, the social security administration pays only for total disability. No benefits are payable for partial disability or for short-term disability. Thus, I think we still need private insurance. :P

I am sweating within 2 minutes just by standing on it

It’s called “Yoga Flex” from Ogawa. I bought it for RM 128 2 weeks ago. My MIL had one too. But, hers was made of wood. The wood one is more stable. I need to put a non slip mat under this plastic “Yoga Flex” to avoid it from slipping here and there while I was standing on it.

Anyway, I like this Ogawa Yoga Flex because it includes all the Yoga styles in it’s box. And, explain clearly in the user manual on how to use it to:

  • Stretch and strengthen our muscles
  • Relieve muscles aches and pains
  • Improve blood circulation

I just need to stand on it and do some yoga stretching on it for about 90 seconds a day. That’s time saving. And, it’s especially useful for me as I am totally unstretchable. Hahahaha……

Also, it makes me sweat. Finally, I am sweating within 2 minutes just by standing on it. Simple mechanism but provides good exercise. My mum is working hard on it too.

It cause no pain to the feet

Nothing is free in this realistic world. True or false? Not true of course. We still get free directory. How about higher price means better quality? True or false? Sounds like common sense. But, definitely not true. Why?

Guess how much is this simple yet nice sandal from MAYA? More clue? It is so light. You just won’t be bothered by the weight of the sandal while you were walking with it. The base is so soft and comfortable. I love it so much once I stepped on it. It cause no pain to the feet and non slippery too.

And, taa… daa………  It’s only RM 15. Thanks to Elaine who recommend this pair of fantastic sandals to me. :P

These Organic Green Beans are so Sweet

I think I need to blog about this.

It’s the organic green beans (or snap beans) I bought from a seller on bike which selling right at the front gate of Botanical garden. Just simply fry them with little bit oil, they taste so sweet! Absolutely sweeter than the non organic one. Never taste such sweetness from snap beans. Mmm……

I have took organic vegetables before. But, That was about 2 years ago. I stopped taking organic vegetables once I tasted bitterness from it. As there after I had doubts. How do we prove they are organic?

Now, these organic green beans from Comfort Organic Farm has boost my confidence in organic vegetables again. LOL! Anyway, if you would like to enjoy this delicious sweet beans too, here is where you should approach. I am definitely going to get more from it.

Obviously, this place is only feasible for people living in Penang to visit. May be they do distribute their vegetables to other places in Malaysia. No harm check it out from your nearest organic shop too. :P

Christian Louboutin

What do you think? Beautiful? Of course. It’s Christian Louboutin. See… I have online window shopping again. Frankly, I have a few pairs of high heals. But, I only wear them once in a blue moon. So, they are more like collection which ends up collecting dust most of the time. Hehe……

Thus, I think something like this would be more practical.

As I wear flat walking shoes all the time. So, anyone plan to buy me a Christmas present? How about this pair of Christian Louboutin? Hahaha……

But, it’s not impossible. As if I can spent such amount on handbags, then why not on shoes, right? Looking at the money I spend on my girl’s extra classes, toys and dresses, I should have no excuse to think twice if I really like it. Really. I will just buy it without think twice only if hubby is paid by USD. Hahahaha……

Scott’s Emulsion

It’s the orange flavor Scott’s Emulsion. My friend told me that it is quite good for dry cough when I was coughing badly 2 weeks ago. So, I tried it. In fact, my grandfather was taking the original one since young till his early 80’s before he died. To him, it’s fantastic. And, I have to admit that he is quite strong. :)

Then, I found out that it is just as good as any other expensive fish oil that I have took before in terms of easing our toilet routine and causing skin smoothness. Thus, 3 of us in the family is taking it now, including baby Elizabeth and hubby.

Hopefully it helps to build up little Elizabeth’s immune system too. Anyway, orange flavor is for kids. Looks like full of coloring and artificial flavor. Thus, hubby and I should take the capsule type or the original white emulsion. :)

Why I still don’t have a Microwave Oven

I wondered anyone would believe me if I am going to tell you people that I actually never own a microwave oven before. Microwave oven has become so popular in this competitive world where everyone seems can’t afford to lose even 1 or 2 minutes. In fact, it is something we will see it in almost every kitchen.

I know it’s so convenient. But check this out:

“In 1991, there was a lawsuit in Oklahoma concerning the hospital use of a microwave oven to warm blood needed in a transfusion. It seems the nurse had warmed the blood in a microwave oven.Blood for transfusions is routinely warmed, but not in microwave ovens. In the case, Norma Levitt died from a simple blood transfusion in a hip surgery.

Obviously, the microwaving altered the blood and it killed her. This tragedy makes it very apparent that there’s much more to “heating” with microwaves than we’ve been led to believe. ”

Thus, I still spend 10 minutes to warm the fresh milk from the fridge for my girl in just hot water. I think it’s safer. Somehow, I can absolutely understand why many are still using it. It’s just like cell phones. Something that we can never let go once we started to depend on it. Hehe……

Luyin Mulberry Vinegar

This is what I bought last 2 weeks ago after we have finished off the Luyin Plum Vinegar. This is Luyin Mulberry Vinegar. It is mean for us to maintain healthy liver, kidney and blood cell count. Thus, It is good for ladies to prevent or solve the menstrual pain or premenstrual problem.

It’s true. I am not as tired as before even though I am sick and during this menstrual period. I feel that my dark circle eye ring has improve too. And, it also being claimed to be good for our lungs and can cure cough and winepipe related illnesses.

Somehow, my cough did not have much improvement even after I have taken it for 1 week. To me, plum vinegar is far more effective in terms of protecting us from flu, cough or phlegm. :)

Overall, Luyin Vinegar has proved to me that they are good.

Too many medication to cure only cough and phlegm

Finally, I give up. Alternative ways failed. Can’t find yellow Kiwi fruit too. It’s not in season. Vinegar and honey seems can’t clear my cough and phlegm, even though they can control the condition for not being worsen.

Thus, I finally bought some medication from my girl’s pead on last Saturday.  I made this decision cause Sunday was a big day. We were going to hotel for buffet lunch. Well, it is not anything great as the hotels in florida. But a small local hotel.  Somehow, it’s my girl’s first Christmas party with all her little schoolmates. And, her first time singing on stage. That’s big occasion. :P

Well, I still not yet fully recover after taking the medication given for 2 days. Is it because I never take the cough syrup? But, at least the phlegm is almost cleared. Doctor said I should take 4 days to fully recovered. That’s good. :)

Anyway, I think there are too many medication to cure only cough and phlegm. The doctor was so kind. No consultation charges. However, just the medication itself still cost me RM134. How about that? Expensive aye? Of course! Only the antibiotic itself cost RM60 to RM70 for six tablets. All the others are also expensive original medication. :(

A Complete Book about Vinegar

I am reading more on Luyin vinegar now. This time I bought a book written by “Luyin” herself — the producer of this vinegar. In this book, it teaches us on DIY vinegar, how to drink vinegar, the health benefits of the various types of vinegar and so much more.

May be after reading this book, I can even make my own vinegar.  But before I can even make my own vinegar, it is more important to know why must we drink vinegar, how to drink vinegar and what are the different benefits of each vinegar to our body.

I realized I should know all these even before I start drinking vinegar, so that my body can fully benefit from drinking vinegar. Just as we should attend the LSAT prep courses, before we can attend law school.

I still believe it will work

I am suffering serious sore throat again. But, I am someone who don’t like to give up and go to doctor so easily. I will try out the various alternative ways first as I always did. First, I tried “Yin Chiao“. But, it does not help this time. :(

So, I decided to drink more vinegar and honey since Sunday. Some raw honey and Luyin vinegar. I believe it can even help to stop the break out of flu if I consume in this early stage. As it really help in the recovery of my flu last time when the flu become so serious that even doctor’s prescription can’t help.

Today is the third day, I am right. No flu. But, I still did not solve my sore throat problem. May be I should take 3 time a day instead of 2. Or make it 15 ml vinegar each time instead of only 7.5 ml. I still believe it will work. :)

09 Nov

White Honey

Another bottle of Raw Honey. My friend only called it “white honey” in Mandarin. Is it clover? I really don’t know which flower is it. Somehow, the taste is unique. Very light. And, taste a bit sour. Totally different from the previous one with light but very sweet taste.

It’s superior quality. Even the price is more expensive. As a small bottle like this already priced at RM60. Wow! I really spent a lot on health food and toys this month. I guess it’s ok. As if I can spent this much on toys or books for my girl, then why not health food? :)

Anyway, I am quite happy with the taste. Also, always taking the same product can be kind of boring. Thus, it’s good to have varieties. Hehe……

Arame is good for hair

Research has shown that minerals are important to healthy hair growth. Thus there are claims saying the thick, black, lustrous hair of Japanese is partly due to their regular diet of Arame. As Arame has high mineral content which feeds the shafts and the ducts of the scalp to help improve the health of the hair.

So will this brown vegetable helps to solve the problem of oily scalp too? I really wish it does help me in this context. Well, no harm trying. But, how much or how regular should I take to see the result? Hopefully there are info on the net that can answer this question.

Wakame holds the key on reducing Abdominal Fat

I like seaweed. It’s part of the best in Japanese food. I like the Chinese seaweed soup too. It’s simply yummy!

And, Arame, Hijiki, Kombu, and Wakame seems become a common food among the Asian as the Japanese food getting famous among us. And, many believe that these seaweed can cleanse the body of toxic pollutants.

Besides, I just read that a pigment in Wakame may hold answers to targeting and reducing abdominal fat. So, it’s a natural fat burner that might keep us slim and healthy? Wow! Such a great news for ladies. I like it!

Well, as long as it’s good, no hard taking more aye? Hehe…… :P

Eat more Salmon

My girl stop eating fish once we own an aquarium at home. May be this little 2 years old feels it’s cruel to eat the beautiful fish which has life like us. Or she has some other reasons. Luckily, she seems like to eat Salmon recently.

What a great news to mummy. As Salmon is low in calories and saturated fat, yet high in protein. It become superior for its great ratio of omega-3s to omega-6s and its health-supportive balance of saturated, monounsaturated, and polyunsaturated fats too. :)

Epsom Salt Bath

I have tried sea salt and rock salt. Now, I found something new — Epsom Salt. It is made of the mineral magnesium sulfate. Magnesium has been shown to:

  • Ease stress
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Create a happy, relaxed feeling
  • Raise energy levels

Thus, soaking in a tub full of hot water with 2 cups of Epsom Salts was good for relaxing muscles and drawing toxins from the body. Obviously, Epsom salt is another prefect ingredient for Spa use.

I love spa. It has certainly become one of my favorite pass time at home. Life without work just ain’t boring at all with all sort of fantastic leisure. Of course, there is still time I dream of having career achievements, then I start visiting New York Job Search again and again. LOL!

It’s human nature I guess. After we have this, we might change our mind and want something else. Until the end of the day, I don’t think we are sure of what we really want either. Hahahaha……

30 Oct

It’s Soft Water now

Finally, I decided to buy a simple filter and fix it in the bathroom so that my girl can enjoy a softer water while bathing.

When I first asking around, a few shop actually offered the price of RM100+ for a slightly bigger filter. I am glad I got this one for just less than RM 40 in a hardware shop nearby. And, the total cost including piping extension is only RM 70 as we fix it our own. Also, the filter cartridge that we need to change almost every 2 to 3 months once is only priced at RM12.

The piping in our house is kind of old, thus no point getting an outdoor central filter which the clean water will need to go through the old piping again before it reached the tap in the house.

In this situation, every bathroom might need one of this filter to at least filter away the harmful Clorine in the water. As just bathing with water without Clorine might leave our skin and hair smoother. Now, baby and mummy can soak in the tub with really clean and soft water. So good! :)

What is Glucomannan?

Have you heard of anyone trying to control their appetite by taking product made of Glucomannan? I am just being curious. As glucomannan is new to me.

According to what I have found out, glucomannan is proven to expand in the stomach into a balloon. Thus, it is a natural and insoluble fiber that can effectively suppress appetite. And, the right amount of intake is about 1000mg of it with 8oz of water for weight loss purpose. Interesting aye?

And, it should be a great information for those who are trying to slim down.

Check the Due Date

I went shopping for food this afternoon. Thinking of getting some biscuits or cornflakes for my girl to bring to school as snack while she was waiting for mummy to pick her up after school.

As I picked up and have a closer look of certain buscuit’s packs, I found out that some of it seems going to due. I am kind of uneasy. I started to check the due dates of every product carefully. Later, I decided to inform the manager as I found the cornflakes that I am holding in my hand and preparing to throw it into my shopping cart has over due.

What an experience! So, please be careful. Check the due date and make sure it’s fresh and safe to eat before you throw the goods into your cart as you shop around the Super or Hypermarket. :)

Fruitarian

I guess almost everyone of us is kind of clear that water is the most plentiful substance in the body. Thus, many claimed that not drinking enough liquids or eating enough high-water content foods puts a great deal of stress on the body.

Thus, fruitarians believe that human body should consume food that contains as much water as the body itself. That’s fruits. And, Fruitarianism is a nutrition system and a life style that just came into my ears.

The fruitarian diet consists of raw fruits, dried fruits including nuts, hazelnuts, cashews, chestnuts, vegetables fruits such as tomato, cucumber, olives and seeds or sprouted seeds only. No cook food. As to them, cooked food addiction can cause unbalanced nutrition, all kinds of disease, mood swings, cravings for synthetic nutrients and chemicals, decrease of vitality, loss of external beauty and loss of inner happiness, depreciation for life and lack of wisdom.

Well, this absolutely sounds like a wonderful life style for those already on diet. And, it sounds attractive to people like me who loves fruits so much. Somehow, can we really live well on raw fruits alone?

Refreshing and Moisturising Hand Soap

I am so glad the Ginger and White Tea Extracts Hand Soap is on sale now. 2 refill packs only cost RM 4.90. So cheap! If you are looking for refreshing hand soap with sweet smell. This is really a great choice. I truly fall for this fragrance once I start using it. :P

You might think:”No way! I can never stand the ginger smell.” So do I. But, I smell no ginger at all from this mixture. And, it’s really refreshing! :)

Besides, you really can trust Watson’s hand soap. Kind of moisturizing. Just in case you need a bottle pack for the start up use as I showed below, It’s RM 5.90 each.

How to prepare a Highly Beneficial Himalayan Salt Bath

1) Add 2 lbs of Himalayan bath salt to a bath tub.

2) Add just enough warm water to cover it.

3) Leave it for about half an hour to let all the salt fully dissolve in the water.

4) Fill your bath tub with water (only water, no other products).  The water temperature should be around body temperature at 98.6 F for maximum benefit.

5) Soak for around 15-30 minutes.

6) Simply dry off with a towel after the brine bath.

Believe it or not, this brine bath is said to have better detoxifying effect if compared to 3 days fasting.Wow! How about comparing it with colon cleansing then? I shall find out more from the colon cleanse reviews. Hehe……

Caution: If you have any heart problems, please consult your doctor first.

Farewell to all my old white pants

I really don’t feel like getting up while the alarm clock was ringing this morning. So, I get to the toilet picking up the toothbrush with close eyes. Then, I just simply put on an old shirt and pants, then sent my girl to school.

Later I came home and happily greeted him good morning as I see him walking out from the bedroom. Then he looked up and was about to reply the greeting. The first thing came out form his mouth was “Did you actually wear this out?”.

Gosh! Then, I replied:”I thought I am just sending her to school and going to market later. Nothing much, so……” He said nothing after that, but I feel like saying sorry. Gosh! Am I getting very Auntie now? Please don’t! :(

As soon as he leave to work, I quickly dig out my 2 new pants which I bought last Sunday.

Linen White Long Pants with inner lining. Come with white linen belt too. From NOIR. RM 169.90.

Cotton knee length off white pants. No pockets. No Belt. From Post 1. Only around RM 53 after discount.

How about that? It’s definitely time to say farewell to all my old white pants. They are just too old and really out of shape. I promised myself I am going to dress up beautifully this weekend.

An attractive wife should look good and knows how to carry herself once she walks out from the house, as if I am always his girl friend, isn’t it? Which means more new clothes and more shopping too. Great!

“No Plastic Day”

In Malaysia, it is still raining quite often. Somehow, it gets really hot when there is no rain. Reducing Global warming is a burning issue now. Looks like we got to start doing something to change the way things are.

Thus, all Malaysian is using the N95 fuel now, even though it seems cause the car to move slower. Then, every Monday becomes the “No Plastic Day”. Good! Everyone is forced to participate in saving our planet now.

So, I carry a big handbag now. Just in case I forgot it’s the “No Plastic Day” when I go shopping. But when I go shopping on one fine “No Plastic Day”……

Me:”Oh! I forgot to bring along the shopping bag.”

Cashier:” So, do you want plastic bags? 20 cents each.” *Smiling*

I smile back and said:”No, thanks. I will squeeze them all into my big handbag.”

I thought it was a “No Plastic Day”? End up, it’s right at the counter and we just need to pay 20 cents for each plastic bag that we are going to carry away. Not any of the expensive rare silver coins, but only 20 cents of Ringgit Malaysia that nearly no one would mind paying. What do you think? Will this campaign do any good at the end of the day? I doubt.

Why must we turn to Vegetarian?

Many Chinese in Malaysian is going vegetarianism for the last 3 days and the next 6 days. This is the tradition of the birthday celebration of the God called “The Ninth Emperor”. I always wanted to become a vegetarian before I know there is another dietary life style called fruitarian.(I like fruits far more than vegetables. Hehe…)

As I think killing other animals to make them our food is kind of cruel. But, the Rimpoche said that even by digging out the vegetables from the soil, we are killing the vegetables and worms. It’s logical, isn’t it?

Well, read this then……

“A meat diet requires larger quantities and more frequent meals than the vegetable or fruit diet. If we should go one step farther and eat the flesh of carnivorous animals, we should find ourselves hungry all the time, as the cells have become exceedingly individualized. Therefore will seek their freedom and gain it in a faster manner.”

Wow! Sounds like hungry ghost! Believe it or not, may be this is a better reason why we should let go the meat in our diet. Hahahaha……

It’s so Dusty

My house was kind of dusty for the last few days. Someone from the government was sent to repair the drain in front of my house. I don’t see anything wrong with the drain. Yet, there is still plenty of space to place the sand and stones along the road. Why must be right in front of my house?

I feel so sorry for my maid. As she needs to mop the floor twice almost everyday after this problem. And, my girl starts coughing too. The flying sand dust seems to be the reason. I wish I have more air filters in the house.

Well, this is nothing if compared to the condition of global warming now. I see the advertisement of “Water is Life” on the TV almost everyday. And, I promised myself I will drink more water.

Hahahaha……

I will make sure no water is flowing out from the shower while I was rubbing my body with soap and also while I came out from the bathroom. I am supporting the no plastic day (Monday) too. Something is always better than nothing. :)

19 Oct

Why Himalayan Rock Salt Bath?

I used to wash my fruits and bath with sea salt. Then, I started to bathe my girl with sea salt too (about 1 week once). As soaking in salt bath should be good for skin. It can also prevent lots of skin diseases and virginal infection.

Then, I read about Himalayan Crystal Salt. It’s called Rock Salt too. Pinkish in color. Must be attractive to little Elizabeth. So I bought a pack of 500g from the IE Organic Shop.

Then, Baby and I tried it last week. Not bad. Baby’s hair was kind of clean. No sweaty smell. My skin felt kind of smooth too. :P

And, below is the fact that I read:

Dip into just Himalayan salt bath (no bath additives, soaps, or oils at all) and fully relax for for the next 15-30 minutes, while your body absorbs the 84 essential minerals including magnesium, potassium, bromide and calcium from this crystal salt.

Your skin will attains the soft glow of health as Himalayan salt stimulate circulation, hydrate the skin, increase moisture retention, promote cellular regeneration, detoxify the skin and help heal dry, scaling, irritated skin.

What’s the best way to store Raw Fish

Mum and I just came back from Sushi King. Taking advantage of the promotion of RM2 per plate of selected Sushi. Sake (Salmon) Sushi is our favorite. And, RM2 is really cheap. So we took all together 6 plates of it.

Others include 2 Unagi Sushi, 2 Ebi Tempura Sushi and 2 Roe Sushi. Mmm… Yum! Yum! Too little aye? Yeah… Eat more! Don’t stop! At the end of the day, save a little from taking low price Sushi, but force to spend more on apidexin. Hahahaha……

By the way, According to Section 3-102B of the Colorado Retail Food Establishment Rules and Regulations (4), “raw, raw-marinated, lightly cooked-marinated, marinated, or partially cooked fish other than molluscan shellfish shall be frozen throughout to a temperature of -4°F (-20°C) or below for 168 hours (7 days) in a freezer, or to a temperature of -31°F (-35°C) or below for 15 hours in a blast freezer” prior to preparation for use.

The only exceptions are certain species of tuna: Thunnus alalunga, Thunnus albacares (Yellowfin), Thunnus atlanticus, Thunnus maccoyii (Southern Bluefin), Thunnus obesus, and Thunnus thynnus (Northern Bluefin) (3, 4). These may be served or sold in a raw, raw-marinated or partially cooked ready-to-eat form without prior freezing.

I guess It’s too Sharp

Anybody tried this toothbrush before? It’s the Colgate Deep Clean Toothbrush. Finally, the food residues get stuck in my teeth can be clear off in minutes. This is absolutely the right one for my teeth.Wonderful!

After a week of using it. I told myself:”What kind of toothbrush is this?” Why so horrible? Cause it’s so painful! May it be my sensitive gums? But no gum’s pain. It’s toothache. And, I can only feel the pain while brushing my teeth with this special toothbrush!

May be it is too hard. Nope! I guess it’s too sharp. LOL! I better stick with the Colgate Toothbrush for Sensitive Gums. Hmm…… That’s so soft and comfortable. :)

Hormonal Pills Good or Bad?

Some friends accidentally got pregnant and give birth to the 2nd or 3rd baby. May be they are avoiding  the birth control pills because of its side effect. It seems that in addition to suppressing ovulation, hormonal birth control may also change the lining of our uterus so that implantation of a fertilized egg cannot take place. The embryois then expelled from the body with the next period.

But, many women actually take hormonal birth control pills for long term after they had enough kids. As it is said to has proven anti aging effect. It seems helpful to the conditions associated with excessive male hormones among ladies which cause body hair growth and acne too.

However, I think it’s better to try acne products first if it’s acne problems. As the most significant risks of taking the hormone pills include a slight increase in risk for breast, cervical and liver cancers, as well as increased risk for heart disease, and stroke (primarily in older women who smoke cigarettes).

Why Salted Fish is bad?

Salted Fish Bone Curry with rich santan, fragrance salted fish bones and sweet pineapples. My favorite! It is yesterday ’s dinner. And, I had 2 plates of rice. Slurp! Yum! Yum! :P

I like salted fish fried rice. I enjoyed taking porridge or white rice with fried salted fish and sambal too. Something that will makes me drooling while thinking of it. But, I always said to myself:” Control! Control! Better don’t take. Er… Alright! A little bit of it!”  whenever it;s in front of me ever since I knew that it can cause more harm and no good to my body. Hahaha……

First of all, I am always told that I won’t even take it if I am watching the whole production process of salted fish. It’s super duper unhygienic! Then, it was the high content of salt in it. As too much salt in the diet can lead to many health problems.

Then, I am shock to find out that ingestion of 0.3 to 0.5 grams of the sodium nitrite ( that 100% being added to the salted fish in the process of preserving it) can lead to poisoning or even death. It is cancer causing and especially harmful to our stomach.

That’s why hubby smokes for years, but never take salted fish. Hahahaha…… As if smoking is better than taking salted fish. What kind of logic is that?

I really feel so sorry for my girl as I used to fed her a little while I am eating these “dangerous” food. I should have been more careful. :(

Besides, lead poisoning can lead to:

  • Anaemia
  • increase blood pressure blood and brain disorder
  • colic like abdominal pain
  • damage in nerve connection (especially in young children)
  • weakness in fingers, wrists and ankles
  • damage to reproductive organs
  • miscarriage
  • Nephropathy (Kidney problem)

Wow! These health problems is just as scary as mesothelioma .”Better stop eating dried and pickled fruits.” I told myself after reading it.

What’s so good about HGH?

As what I read online, human growth hormones is used clinically to treat children’s growth disorders and adult growth hormone deficiency. Thus, it is popular in increasing height in children and adolescents.

Somehow, many people did depend on HGH replacement therapies to fight the battle against aging and weight management in recent years.

As growth hormone has many other effects on the body:

  • decreased body fat,
  • increased muscle mass,
  • increased bone density,
  • increased energy levels,
  • improved skin tone and texture,
  • increased sexual function and
  • improved immune system function

Interesting, aye? I remember I got a book about this hgh growth hormone from my friend long ago. Now, I am going to dig it out and read more about it. I am hoping it is something that can really make us grow taller.

Don’t know why, but I always wanted a few inches more. By the way, I am curious that can it really make us look younger?  Just as good as the best wrinkle creams in the market? Can anyone that has tried it before share it here everyone here? I think many will be interested.

Another Germs Carrier

These are all the toothbrushes and toothpastes I bought last night in Guardian. Including shower gel and everything, all together I spent RM173 but got zero stamp. Why the shopkeeper never tell me that stamps will be given starting from today with every RM15 spent? And, 40 stamps will have 1 soft toy for free? My girl loves soft toys, you know! What a waste! :(

Anyway, how often do you change your toothbrush? According to most report, our toothbrush is another germs carrier. Very dirty! Worst still if we stored it in the toilet. Each time we flush the toilet, bacterias such as E.Coli disperse in the air in the form of tiny particles. We can’t see it. But does that means it doesn’t exit?

So, change your toothbrush every 2 to 3 months only because they become worn out and are not as effective as they once were. On the other hand, change your toothbrush every 4 - 6 weeks to avoid bacteria harbor in the bristles.

Too costly to change so often? Then, rinse your toothbrush out with hot water, then air dry it after every use. Change it after you have been sick. Don’t touch your toothpaste with your toothbrush head. These are the ways to practice proper oral hygiene. Troublesome? Kind of impossible to follow? So be it! Hahahaha……

Paintball is a safe Sport

I never like physical exercise such as running on a treadmill. How about paintball? That sounds fun! But, it might be too challenging for people like me who rarely exercise.

We need to run, crawl, dive, sprint and shoot in speed while lugging around the Proto Rail Paintball Guns and other safety gears. That’s paintball. After a game, players are often too tired and may experience body sores. Thus, paintball game helps us sleep better since it releases energy which takes time to recuperate.

But, as our legs, back and abdominal muscles get strengthen, our body will be prepared and more competence to this challenging game. Also, statistics show that paintball is a safe sport. Even safer than contact sports such as basketball and football. Sounds like the flying bullets ain’t so scary anymore.

A Yuan Organic Aromatic Soap

The famous “A Yuan Organic Aromatic Soap” from Taiwan is everywhere now. So, I tried one of the aroma called “The Left Hand Xiang” in Mandarin first. My girl, my mum and I were using it. So, finished up within 2 months. But, very… Good! So, we try the Lantana this time.

I feel Lantana is even better in terms of frangrance. And, not as oily as the left hand Xiang either. We even use it to “shampoo” the hair. Our hair become extremely smooth after using it, even better than using conditioner. Somehow, It’s a bit too oily after many wash.

But, it is a fantastic body soap. It really hydrates the skin. Our dry and sensitive skin has truly benefited from it.  Two thumbs up!
